Further to this story last Friday I now have one such financial statement in front of me. This clearly contains, even to a casual observer let alone an anorak like me, elementary mistakes which must put the reconciliation data out at least by a 6 figure sum.
I would certainly advise requesting and checking your statement in this light.
1. It has been virtually impossible to get a financial statement without major upheaval since October 2007
2. I have recently discovered that my figures input since October 2007 contain glaring errors - always on the side of the LSC for each month
3. In December they input 2 pages of a 6 page submission leaving me £7k adrift
4. My friend's billing was under input by £10K in one month
